Hi,

First of all, happy new year to everyone !

I created an application for my company which allows workers to use VPN connections. When they are using Windows 7, each time they connect to the VPN, this windows occurs (example was found on Google but it is in fact similar to my problem):

Is it possible to avoid this windows to open each time people is connecting to VPN ?

Thanks a lot !

Not that I know of, Windows needs to know the network location to be able to set the appropriate firewall settings. I'd imagine if the machine firewall was disabled it wouldn't prompt you, but I wouldn't advise doing that. If you create the entry only once the user will only be prompted once, however if you're recreating the entry constantly, every time the user connects they will have to select the network location.

Thanks a lot for your answer ! It's not very annoying so I don't think that I would go further for that problem !
