Send/Receive examples

May 13, 2009 at 3:32 PM

Hello.  I'm brand new to TAPI.  I'm working on a C#/.NET application that needs to (a) send data via a modem and (b) answer the modem, receive data and then respond.  It looks like the DotRas package is the best available for doing those (and more).  Are there examples available for performing those two operations?

Unfortunately it doesn't do either of those. All it does is use the RAS API from Windows to manage dial-up networking connections. I haven't implemented any of the TAPI specifci APIs yet.

If you have a remote access server you're connecting to, you can use DotRas to connect to the server and send data across the network. If your part b is due to a callback restriction, that might be handled by DotRas, but I'd need more information to give you a better answer.
