Hi Jeff,

Is there any example connecting to internet using 3G modem?

Thanks, Iman

3G modems are just dial-up connections, check out the Dial up connection example included with the SDK. You'll still need to get the number to dial, username and password for your carrier for it to work though.

Hi Jeff,

thank you, it works. It can connect to modem using RasDialer and RasEntry.

The next question is, how to get the signal strength and current active radio access technology (RAT) ? For example HSDPA, 3G, EDGE, etc?

Unfortunately getting device specific information is not possible with DotRas right now. You'll have to find out how to do that on your own.

Unfortunately also it is often not *quite* vendor specific in my experience. There are commonalities, but they are different enough to be annoying.
