DotRas and openVPN

Just watched the youtube video and this seems to be a nice piece of work. Well done.

I was wondering if DotRas be used to setup connections that would suit an openVPN server?

DotRas doesn't implement any VPN functionality itself, it's just a wrapper around the Windows RAS API which is how Windows does connections. As long as Windows can handle connecting to an OpenVPN server, DotRas should be able to handle it as well. You may need to change some settings on the entry if the default settings that have been defined in the RasEntry.CreateXXXEntry methods don't work, however the only servers I've seen cause problems with DotRas were a couple Linux VPN implementations that disconnected the client which needed a DotRas code change to safely handle.

It hasn't been tested against the OpenVPN server, so I would be curious to know how well it works (or doesn't) with it.
